Role overview



The Staff Accountant, reporting tothe Senior Accountant,is responsible for building lasting relationships with Accounting, Finance, other Business Partners and Business Leaders to advise and solve challenging, real-time problems.



A day in the life...



  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy in accordance with GAAP and timeliness


  • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions


  • Reconcile bank statements monthly


  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review


  • Collaborate with accounting team to identify and resolve discrepancies and variances in financial records


  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information


  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned





What we are looking for...





  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required


  • Internship or 1-2 years of relevant work experience in accounting is preferred


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel


  • Experience with accounting software (NetSuite) is a plus


  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal





Hiring Range

$73800-$83400
Annual


Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
