Under the direction of the Director, Group Sales Operations, designs, develops, implements and oversees training programs for sales teams. This position will collaborate with sales management and internal departments to assess training needs of sales teams and administer programs that build skills, knowledge, and capabilities to achieve organizational initiatives and sales goals.

Compensation
$80,720 - $96,000 annually Grade: Exempt 16

What you'll do
Partners and Collaborates with Sales Leadership Team and other BCBSKS internal teams to identify training needs and to establish long-term training strategy.
Organizes and coordinates all activities related to sales training programs.
Develops training curricula and/or recommends utilization of vendor programs to meet instructional goals and objectives.
Creates course content and materials that engage and encourage learner participation.
Develops and makes recommendations to training agenda or curriculum
Researches, Selects and/or Develops training aids including training handbooks, multimedia visual aids, tutorials, etc.
Establishes metrics to measure performance and success of learning/training programs.
Maintains repository of training documentation and guides
Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs, including, but not limited to, training venues, timing, and modality.
Participates in bi-annual Statewide conference planning and coordination.
Develops annual training budget.
What you need
Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources or related field...OR three years' experience as a Training Specialist or similar role In lieu of degree.
Minimum of three years' experience in developing and facilitating adult training programs in a business setting.
Requires a State of Kansas Insurance License within 60 days of hire. Must have and maintain a valid Kansas Driving License.
