Kforce's Phoenix, AZ based banking client is looking to add a Compliance Business Team Project Manager to their team. This is a great position with the potential to evolve into product management over time. This is a six-month contract position with high likelihood of extension based on performance. This position is fully remote and can sit anywhere in the United States.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Management - Drives for the completion of assigned audit projects from start to finish, including reporting of project development and results while meeting identified timelines; Effectively organizes and coordinates with other parties in a matrix management environment to ensure successful completion of audit projects; Conducts special projects and assists external auditors or regulators as needed
Team Leadership - Leads work efforts of project team for accuracy, process improvements, and efficiencies; Ensures compliance with financial laws, rules, and regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley; Assists with the training, performance, and development of assigned staff
Risk Assessment - Identifies current and emerging business issues, managing both global and organizational risks; Analyzes business processes to identify efficiencies, key objectives, and optimal level of control and risks; Communicates findings to appropriate parties and develops priorities for resolution; Participates in the annual risk assessment and audit plan process
Business Strategy - Acts as a consultant in Bank strategic initiatives serving as a technical expert; Maintains current knowledge of developments in the banking industry, including internal Bank operations and external examining agencies, to effectively serve business goals
REQUIREMENTS:
Technology background or 10+ years of experience directly working with technology teams on BSA/AML project/program delivery - preferred
Solid project management skills in an Agile environment, experience managing multiple Agile teams
Some exposure to Product is required
Deep exposure to AML/KYC/Sanctions systems and platforms
Experience in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall model is needed as client is integrating their Agile model with some legacy Waterfall project
Stakeholder management skills
Able to establish and foster relationships with business stakeholders
Good experience with BSA AML Compliance projects
Experience of managing at least one large integration program (with budget $10MM+) in an M&A situation
Excellent skills of presenting program progress verbally/written to executives and getting their alignment
Quick thinking and ability to understand complex integration related challenges, risks, and dependencies
Knowledge/exposure to Jira and Confluence
Exposure to FCRM 2021 is a big plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
