Summary:
Performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in the Clinical Laboratories. Routine laboratory testing will be on the day shift and may include a weekend assignment in the Core Laboratory (Hematology/Chemistry). This assignment may require additional cross-training in the other laboratory sections. Routine job functions include specimen procurement via venipuncture, specimen acceptance, accessioning, processing, performance of testing and quality control procedures, the use of various laboratory testing systems and information systems for result generation, reporting, and documentation.


Base salary range for this position is $64,772 - $74,135 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position also includes a geographic differential of $4.60 hourly for a total compensation range of $74,366 - $83,729 annually.




Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience


1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.


NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
