The Senior Program Manager - Suicide Prevention in Health Systems is responsible for strategic program development, project implementation, and administration of the Healthcare Initiatives Team (HCI) at the national Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC). The goal of this position is to develop innovative trainings and courses, tailored resources, practical tools and research-informed publications that enhance clinical practice among providers and impact organizational change among health systems (including the Zero Suicide framework). This position will convene staff, contractors, and subject matter experts to identify the needs of the healthcare field and will share information about effective clinical programs, policies, and practices that improve suicide prevention outcomes. Under the supervision of the SPRC Senior Leadership Team, this position will also coordinate the work of the HCI Team with other SPRC Teams and Initiatives to build capacity, develop the workforce, and strengthen infrastructure for effective suicide prevention.
