Job Description:

Ledgent is partnering with one of their long standing clients to fill a supervisory role. This position offers hybrid flexibility (2-3x/week), a great benefits package, and competitive compensation ($70,000-$85,000 D.O.E.) with opportunity for growth.




Job Duties:



  • Work closely with employees and vendors as point of contact for escalated issues related to invoices, discrepancies, and payment issues.

  • Coordinate the completion of AP tasks across multiple business units, ensuring proper coverage and cross-training

  • Understand and comply with established company procedures designed to support effective internal controls

  • Supervise AP Specialist team by providing work direction, coaching, cross training, and administering quarterly goals and annual review process

  • Maintain vendors including adding new, inactivating, removing duplicates and making changes to vendors.

  • Review monthly vendor statements and reconcile the accrued payables account to ensure invoices are received and processed in the appropriate accounting period. Assist with yearly audit as necessary.

  • Follow-up on material and consistent purchase price and/or quantity variances between purchase orders and invoices, to ensure only valid amounts due are remitted to vendors.

  • Process and code non-inventory invoices and credit memos.



Requirements:



  • 2-year or 4-year degree (preferred but not required)

  • Supervisory or leadership experience

  • Prior multi-factory or multi-division company experience (preferred)

  • 4+ years A/P experience

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP or Great Plains BONUS!)
