Description: We invite applications for a position at the rank of tenure-track assistant professor to begin September 1, 2025. We seek a dynamic, creative, productive scholar and teacher with a focus on literature, media, and performance since 1945. We are particularly interested in scholars with expertise in fields including contemporary and transnational literatures, trans- and multilingualism, migration and diaspora studies, and Jewish studies. The successful candidate will have native or near-native fluency in German and English and will be expected to teach a full range of courses across our undergraduate and graduate curricula. Applications should consist of a letter of inquiry, CV, teaching statement, writing sample of circa 25 pages, and three letters of recommendation.
