Supply Chain Analyst Internship

Orlando, FL (Hybrid)

Position Summary

Thales is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst Intern to support the Supply Chain Leadership team on new initiatives and process improvements through analysis, solution development, and implementation project work. Work with cross-functional teams to help improve their processes and systems. Ability to compile and analyze trends, and identify operating efficiency opportunities.

In this position you will also heavily support Supply Chain Operations but will interact with many functions across the business as well as external vendors

Key Areas of Responsibility


  • Use data and modeling techniques to develop supply chain improvement initiatives; Create and manage large datasets for analytical purposes; Coordinate and prepare reports.

  • Identify opportunities to improve Operational Processes; supporting the use of Project Management Principles; Present analysis, insights and recommended course of action.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation for tracking and Presentation to Stakeholders/Leadership; Manage project timelines and proactively identify resource constraints, conflicting priorities and scheduling issues; Prioritize objectives, ensuring plans are achievable.

  • Champion innovation to simplify current solutions and methodologies; Implement and maintain continuous improvement efforts with support from Leadership/Department Managers; Write standard operating procedures and guidelines ensuring that all quality documents meet requirements; Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Support on external and internal audits as needed; Assist with the development, delivery, evaluation and improvement of Performance KPI’s; Assist in communicating and implementing solutions with cross-functional teams

  • Collaborate and meet aggressive deadlines across various functional groups and partners.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Enrolled and actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • Ability to extract large amounts of data from SAP and other sources; Strong data analytics and ability to organize information into actionable insights for broader teams.

  • Detail Oriented with exceptional Time Management skills; Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities; Problem Solver and easily capable of making well informed decisions; Proven self-starter with ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.

  • Experience Developing and Leading multiple Projects/Initiatives; Experience with Process Flow and Visual Stream mapping; Ability to handle confidential information.

  • Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to successfully drive change in a highly matrixed environment; Proven ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships.

  • Root-cause identification and Excellent problem solving skills; Strong troubleshooting and technical skills; Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment; Works well independently and in a team environment.
