Schneider Electric's Smyrna, TN plant has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Fabrication Manager. You will be primarily accountable for overseeing the implementation of safety programs, manufacturing schedules, personnel, quality control, and production standards.

What will you do?
• Plan, manage, lead, and engage in daily production operations to achieve the key performance indicators (safety, on time delivery, quality, and productivity)
• Promote and implement ergonomic principles, environmental responsibility and overall employee health and wellness
• Provide world-class service to internal and external customers
• Reports to Plant Manager and directly leads a team of front-line supervisors with an indirect scope of hourly workforce across 3 shifts
• Lead efforts to attain internal certification goals, ISO requirements, and total customer satisfaction
• Coach, mentor and develop all direct reports
• Ensure compliance with all quality systems to achieve the required quality levels
• Manage performance of assigned resources (material, methods, labor, machines)
• Participate in the development of the Master Production Schedule
• Champion Lean Manufacturing Initiatives (Schneider Performance System) to drive continuous improvement throughout the plant.
• Be responsible for people management including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being.
• Define training goals according to competencies and targets
• Lead change management in accordance with business and plant objectives
• Promote collaboration, diversity and inclusion within the plant and the organization
• Lead and coordinate the implementation of programs which support manufacturing strategies & goals

What qualifications will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Tooling, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in copper/aluminum and various sheet metals (stamping, punching, cutting, bending, tooling, assembly processes, maintenance, etc. of parts small to large.
• Extensive knowledge of fabrication equipment, including tooling and various types of technologies within the industry; progressive, short run, staged, high speed precision dies, deep draw, multi-slide, etc. As well as equipment such as Servo electric/Hydraulic/Mechanical, Thick Turret, Laser, etc. Knowledge of TPM, Safety protocols (ie: LOTO, safe guarding, die protection), NHID, Die sensing, etc.
• Strong working knowledge of computer applications (AutoCAD, MS Office, 3D modeling, etc.)
• Experience solving problems, leading, managing and delivering results.
• Ability to work across multiple business functions.
• Self-directed and self-motivated to identify and drive improvements.
