We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join a leading construction firm specializing in Commercial Retail Projects . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating commercial construction projects, particularly K-12 educational facilities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, with an emphasis on Retail projects.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Monitor and update project budgets and cost forecasts.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters.
Maintain and update estimating databases and tools.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects, with a focus on Retail projects.
A Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in commercial construction is required.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
