About the Role

Essity North America Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager who will lead the Initiative's Team while managing and optimizing our product portfolio, securing projects, changes in materials, and increasing efficiency improvements and market initiatives. You will provide strategic direction and planning for the projects and initiatives functions at the site, driving execution with excellence and to meet site goals and objectives. We're looking for people who embody our values, aren't afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. The ideal candidate should live in the Manchester, CT area or is willing to relocate.

What You Will Do


  • Lead team through the site capital expenditure (Capex) portfolio including asset replacement strategy and take full ownership of the Initiatives Site Master Plan;


  • Initiate, coordinate, and implement all project related activities for the plant and all products and materials initiatives;


  • Support strategic company projects and priorities by serving as the main point of contact;


  • Review and monitor company-wide initiatives and understand their impact to our road mapping process, even when timelines are unclear;


  • Scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating, and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and process or product changes;


  • Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions;


  • Partner with other key stakeholders to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery;


  • Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating as appropriate;


  • Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive or influence business decisions;


  • Become a valued member of the site management team taking shared business ownership in plant development to full potential;


  • Coach, lead, and mentor assigned project managers;


  • Additional responsibilities as required.


Who You Are


  • 7+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field;


  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree;  


  • PMP/IPMA certification strongly preferred;


  • Project/program management in a manufacturing environment preferred;


  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 preferred;


  • Experience in applying principles in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM);


  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to provide supervision and leadership;


  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders;


  • Proficiency with MS office computer software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


  • Travel requirement: 30% - 40%.

Compensation and Benefits:

$120,000 to $140,00 annual salary + annual incentive bonus + benefits.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
