Location: Louisville, Chicago, or Remote (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST)
Length: 6 month extendible W2 contract, NO C2C
The UX Writer will play a pivotal role in defining and creating content for web, mobile, and related channels. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, they will develop a deep understanding of healthcare subjects and audience information needs. The writer's primary goal is to ensure that the right content reaches the right audiences at the right time-whether consumers, members, providers, employers, or agents/brokers.
Role Essentials:
At least 5 years of UX writing experience
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a similar field
Proficiency in writing and optimizing content for various content types and digital channels, including long- and short-form content for web and mobile, email, SMS, and push notifications
Experience using SEO tactics and strategies to inform copy
Strong grasp of user experience and the role of content within design in a digital environment
Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and transitioning seamlessly between strategic and tactical work
Experience working in an embedded agile product team, particularly with ecommerce sites
Familiarity with content management systems
Knowledge of online workflow and tracking tools, such as Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and the AP Stylebook
Role Desirables:
Experience in wellness and/or healthcare, especially in regulated industries
Familiarity with content management systems like AEM or Salesforce
Exposure to AI tools
