Job Description
Computer World Services Corp (CWS) is seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as the Applications Services Lead for the NIH/National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), IT Infrastructure Program. NIEHS requires support for proactive and effective project management, efficient administration of the Data Center, successful operations and maintenance of servers, applications and networks, and prompt and efficient service desk support.
The Applications Services Lead is responsible for overseeing the software configuration management, development, and maintenance of hosted applications for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). This role ensures that all hosted application software is operational, continuously supports business operations, and phases out ColdFusion applications by November 2025. The Lead will manage software development, coordinate maintenance activities, and support system upgrades and changes. The Application Services Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous, efficient, and effective operation of NIEHS hosted applications while guiding the organization through the transition away from ColdFusion. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, management skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
