Part-Time Faculty Lecturer

The Department of Epidemiology is seeking an individual at the Faculty Lecturer level to teach the course EPIDEM 2223, 'Introduction to Environmental Epidemiology", a 2-credit course, in Fall 2025. The Lecturer will work on revising the course, preparing the syllabus, and getting the new changes approved by the EPCC during this current term, Fall 2024.

This position is a part-time, temporary position outside the tenure stream.

Ph.D., Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology with at least ten years of experience as an applied environmental epidemiologist in the public or private sector

• Research exercise in environmental epidemiology with a focus on lead risk, air pollution, and asthma

• Community work expertise in Community Health Assessment, Climate Change Resilience Planning, Conducting public health assessments of environmental hazards and concerns, as well as disease outbreaks.

• Expertise in preparing grants and manuscripts related to Environmental Epidemiology and Environmental Justice

• Teaching experience in environmental epidemiology courses at the graduate level
