Hours: M-F 7-3:30, 8-4:30 or 8:30-5
Job duties include:
Responsible for submission and checking on the status of all prior authorization approvals
Monitoring the status and placing orders when we receive an approval
Responsible for supporting activities involved with prior authorizations
Collect necessary documentation for prior authorization submission
Keep records of interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken in accordance with HIPPA policies
Attain and maintain proficient working knowledge of customer relations system (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Products, and other supporting databases
Respond timely to inquiries sent via e-mail, mail, fax, chat or over the phone
Data collection and data maintenance
Ensuring timely response to internal and external medical customer inquiries
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
2 years Customer Service experience
Must work well with others and willing to collaborate
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with Salesforce a plus
