We are currently seeking an experience, licensed Architect to join our Corporate Studio in Dallas, TX.

Job Summary:

RS&H is currently seeking an experienced licensed architect to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of RS&H's Corporate practice footprint and be a part of our voice in the market. Our successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening relationships with current and new clients in the region, have the opportunity to work with other talented, entrepreneurial minded people, share a collaborative environment and work with a diverse client list.

As part of the Buildings team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by providing professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects; meeting with clients to determine objectives and requirements for structures; preparing structure specifications, scaled drawings and proposals; owning finished plans, specifications, and approval of materials and construction; reviewing junior staff's work for technical accuracy and providing technical guidance to other professionals and technicians; and performing quality control reviews, field reviews, inspections, and observations of ongoing construction projects. This position may also review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments, lead a discipline team or small multidisciplinary teams to complete projects, and/or manage a small team of direct reports.

This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote.

To be successful in this role, you must (Qualifications):

  • Have a degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program or equivalent experience.
  • Have seven-years' experience, including working on parts of major projects or multiple, moderate-sized projects, providing technical guidance to entry/junior-level staff, and reviewing others' work for technical accuracy.
  • Possess an active license in good standing and demonstrate knowledge of state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other relevant ordinances.
  • Be proficient in production software and construction document production.
  • Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions.
  • Have proven ability successfully addressing challenging issues in a sound professional and business-like manner.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expereince in Healthcare, in-hospital project delivery
