This entry level role is a mix of office and warehouse responsibilities and a great opportunity to gain field service experience and grow into a Power Field Service Representative.

This Associate Field Service Representative position will sit within our U.S. Services business, specifically our Power Services team. Our Power Services team is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for SquareD focusing on electrical distribution equipment inside of critical facilities.

As an Associate Field Service Representative, a typical day for you might include:

Shop Organization and Maintenance


  • Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and shop areas.

  • Implement and maintain efficient storage systems for hardware, parts, and equipment.


Inventory Management

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of parts and hardware.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to order and receive new stock as needed.

  • Track inventory usage and forecast future needs to ensure stock availability for upcoming jobs.


Vehicle and Trailer Management

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and trailers.

  • Schedule and manage regular inspections and servicing to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Ensure all commercial vehicles and trailers are compliant with DOT requirements and standards.

  • Maintain an updated list of our fleet vehicles and their assigned drivers.


Shipping and Receiving

  • Manage the shipping and receiving of parts and equipment.

  • Coordinate with the Order Management team and other FSR's on job related inventory and logistics.

  • Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments.


Communication and Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the warehouse and other departments.

  • Provide regular updates on inventory status, equipment availability, and any issues that affect operations.

  • Communicate the team to address any concerns or needs related to shop operations.


Record Keeping and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, vehicle maintenance, test equipment, and shipping/receiving activities.

  • Ensure proper documentation for all inventory and equipment transactions.


Equipment Tracker
  • Maintain the Equipment Tracker program information database.

This may be the next step in your career journey if you have:


  • Minimum High School Diploma.

  • Vocational education, military training, or transferable experience in electronics, electrical theory, or similar discipline a plus.

  • Strong computer skills including MS Office. Other applications such as Salesforce and Adobe a plus.

  • Self-starter and the ability to work with little direct supervision to complete assigned tasks.

  • The capacity to move service equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • CDL license a plus.
