The lab clerk performs various administrative duties that help the lab group meet departmental goals in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.”
Pay Rate: $15.57 - $21.84 per hour Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
Registers the day’s samples on the computer
Adds new customers and machine compartments to the database as needed
Verifies customer address or machine ownership where needed
Completes the manual data entry
Ensures test data is complete and correct for evaluation
Sorts lab’s daily run of customer reports and feedback copies of sample reports for the day
Logs in Level II Coolant samples and ships out for test work as needed
Assists in shipping out other samples for test work when needed
Assists in getting the warranty letters out
Assists in invoicing special sample services as needed
Performs various administrative tasks to support the lab
Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years administrative/clerical experience
1-3 years customer service experience
Physical Demands & Competencies:
Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
Safety & Product Knowledge
Attention to detail
Ability to type 40 words per minute
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word
