About the Role 

Essity North America is looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Auditor

The ideal candidate should/could live in the Appleton, WI, Philadelphia, PA, or Charlotte, NC area

What You Will Do 


  • Monitors trade compliance activities by performing self-assessments and audits.

  • Assists with investigations of compliance incident reports and other compliance matters and follows-up on corrective actions.

  • Identifies need for investigations and documents the results.

  • Completes audit work papers and memorandums by documenting audit tests and findings.

  • Prepares and communicates audit reports and findings to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Supports to identify training needs on compliance topics based on audit results or compliance incidents.

Who You Are 


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent practical work experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in Trade Compliance, audit experience preferred

  • Trade compliance expert (certified customs specialist) in relevant area of scope

  • SAP, TMS (BY) knowledge

  • Power BI, Global Trade Management, coding or programming knowledge and experience preferred

  • Bilingual would be a plus
