Job Description:
ECS is seeking a Configuration Manager to support a biometric mission critical application for the Department of Homeland Security. Primary Duties:
Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive configuration management plan, in accordance with DHS requirements
Work across development, test, and production instances to implement, administer and maintain configuration management tools and processes
Support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of program products
Balance the technical implementation of configuration management tools, with the identification of process requirements and resource coordination to achieve configuration management best practices
Synthesize processes that span teams, coordinating inputs and outputs, to capitalize on efficiencies to produce high quality products and ensure compatibility between component versions
The candidate should be familiar with Agile CI/CD processes and managing compatibility of COTS and open-source solutions. The candidate must have experience maintaining configuration of cloud-based environments including using infrastructure as code and using Ansible or other open-source technologies across multiple environments.
Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00

Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance.
Bachelor's Degree or additional years of experience.
4 years' experience in managing the configuration of software code and systems.
4+ years of experience developing configuration and change management process and techniques with experience establishing and implementing a configuration and change management plan.
4+ years of experience with identification of controlled artifacts (configuration items) and implementation of standard CM control processes.
2+ years of experience designing, implementing, supporting, monitoring and maintaining systems leveraging Ansible or other open-source technologies across multiple environments including cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
2+ years of experience implementing Configuration and Change Management processes within a government environment.
Advanced level experience validating and documenting compatibility of system components, including monitoring systems for configuration drift.
Advanced level experience with source control tools and technologies (Git or similar distributed repository technology preferred).
Intermediate level expertise and experience in system architecture and engineering disciplines.
Experience leading a team of Configuration Management specialists.
