Join our team members working for our nationally recognized retina specialty practice in a fast paced, high volume ambulatory surgery center.This is a per diem position for a pre-op/post-op/OR RN working in an ambulatory surgery center for ophthalmology in Sacramento, CA. Expected availability commitment of at least 1 day per week

Responsibilities:
Assess, instruct and prepare patients prior to surgeryTake and record vital signsInitiate IV and ensure patients are informed about their procedureAssess patients post-operative status by monitoring vital signs and utilizing the Aldrete scorePrepare patients for discharge in a timely and thorough manner to maintain patient flowMust be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environmentKnowledge of sterile technique preferred but not requiredNo weekend/holidays
