Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Buyer to join their team. This is an onsite position located in our client's location, and the successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check.

As a Buyer, you will plan, perform, and administer purchasing system activities to ensure that all assigned projects are delivered within the required delivery, quality, compliance, and process parameters. You will also conduct and document procurement activities and negotiations, supporting prudent system updates, including new vendor additions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain ongoing interface with various departments to ensure project completion and timelines align with deliverables
- Monitor open order requests and take appropriate corrective action on reporting activities
- Take an active leadership role on assigned projects
- Develop Excel spreadsheets as a visual reporting mechanism to management
- Work on projects that involve the use of systems like SAP/Ariba/Coupa
- Act as the primary point of contact for end users and lead resolution on system projects
- Coordinate vendor on-boarding activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Coordinate with various internal departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services

Ideal candidates will have experience and working knowledge of purchasing and sourcing activities. They should be self-managed, able to take control of their own activities, and report weekly. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential. The successful candidate will also provide training and support to staff, empowering them to utilize eProcurement systems effectively.
