WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?


  1. Order various types of program, medical, office, facility and janitorial supplies and equipment. 

  2. Research and compare suppliers, goods and services to find the most suitable price for value.

  3. Coordinate with staff across the organization to fulfill purchasing needs.

  4. Create purchase orders and obtain proper approvals.

  5. Monitor Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for purchase requests.

  6. Maintain proper inventory levels for certain office, facility, and janitorial supplies to determine and procure what is needed for replenishment.

  7. Establish and maintain accurate procurement records.

  8. Verify receipt of goods and resolve discrepancies.

  9. Maintain good relationships with suppliers.

  10. Process invoices related to purchases made as well as various recurring invoices by compiling support documentation and proper approvals.

  11. Provide end of month reporting to reconcile inventory levels and allocate costs to internal and affiliated programs/departments.

  12. Assist with processing various purchases made by staff with credit and debit cards for inclusion on the financial reports.

  13. Maintain highest standard of confidentiality in working with sensitive information.

  14. Perform various tasks and projects as assigned by the Controller.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?


  1. Minimum of four years’ experience in an office setting required.

  2. Purchasing experience preferred.

  3. Must be highly proficient with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  4. Must be detail oriented!

  5. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational and project management skills.

  6. High school diploma or equivalent required.
