Munters is looking for a Fabricator/Machinist to support manufacturing lines and facility.

• Set up and operate a range of metal fabrication equipment to shear, bend, punch, notch, or otherwise form metal parts, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.


• Work from job packets, read and follow manufacturing specifications, BOM (bill of materials), and drawing sets, process sheet, bend list, assembly instructions, material usage list, blueprints, quality checklist.


• Develop layout and plan sequence of operations. Calculate angles and bend thicknesses, and other critical elements to determine appropriate dies, fixtures, stops, and settings.


• Verify conformance of the first piece to the specifications using angles, squares, ruler, gauges, and measuring tape. Gauge workpieces are randomly run to ensure maintenance of settings and make adjustments as necessary


• Punch or notch corners as required based on specifications, processes, and materials. Change over equipment to accommodate requirements. Set stop, angles, and dies for denied whole dimensions and confirmation. Manually feed material through fabrication operations.


• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and follow detailed written and/or oral instructions


• Able to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision; effectively plan, organize and execute own activities;


• Able to communicate clearly and professionally;


• Able to work well with others and take direction and feedback;


• Willing to cross-train as needed;


• 2+ years of related experience;


• High Scholl diploma or GED equivalent;


• Work shift starts at 5:00am, OT possibly required

• Frequently lift and carry up to 30 lbs.


• Occasionally push and pull up to 50 lbs with help.


• Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.


• Occasionally exposed to fumes, dust and metal shavings.
