Job Description:

We are currently hiring for an Receptionist to support our non-profit client in Oakland, CA.


  • Temp-to-hire

  • $23.00-25.00 Hourly

  • Fully on-site position

  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish



Role and Responsibilities:


  • Performs routine clerical duties such as answering telephones, taking and delivering messages, setting up and maintaining files, sorting/delivering mail, entering data into the computer, preparing routine correspondence.

  • Receives and greets visitors, determines nature of their visit and notifies appropriate staff members.

  • Answers and transfers telephone calls using multiple-line equipment.

  • Represents organization to callers and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in office administration or a similar role.

  • Experience in scheduling, managing office supplies, and coordinating meetings.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

  • Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
