**This role isnoteligiblefor100% remotework. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Seattle Metropolitan Area and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom Seattle office up to 5 days a week.**

Slalom Seattle is looking for an experienced Data Strategy leader who is passionate about defining the Data & Analytics ambition for clients, bringing data-driven decision making into their business' everyday mode of operation, and helping them transition toward a modern culture of data.


In this role, you will guide executive clients on how to move their vision forward using all the core Data & Analytics skills including data architecture, data management, business intelligence, data science, and data governance.



What You'll Do



  • Advise executive-level clients on Data & Analytics strategy and solutions planning, providing guidance on what works and what doesn't work within their business units, being innovative, understanding the overall data marketplace, and blending personal experience on past data and analytics projects.

  • Drive all elements of the Data & Analytics advisory service - from planning and executing related research to synthesizing all inputs and building phased roadmaps and actionable plans, with prioritized impact areas and contingencies across people, process, and technology, for clients to achieve their vision.

  • Develop and deliver proposals to clients, including content, budgetary estimates, and resource requirements.

  • Support or inform organizational transformation efforts, such as data strategy re-org, Data Governance, Data Science and Data Analytics operations modeling, and defining the future state of their data maturity.

  • Lead complex client engagements and project delivery teams.

  • Take accountability for the practice operations and growth, including recruiting, talent development, staffing, account relationship management, and driving sales.

  • Develop thought leadership in the Data Strategy space by leading and participating in internal capability initiatives, industry events, research publications, etc.


What You'll Bring



  • 10+ years of consulting experience in management advisory roles on engagements focusing on data and analytics outcomes.

  • A structured approach to creating and implementing Data & Analytics strategies through current state assessments, future state visioning and prioritization, gap analysis, solution design workshops, data architecture reviews, and strategic implementation leadership.

  • Experience in building holistic data strategies which include assessing organizational outcomes and current state landscape and making functional and technical recommendations in support of determining foundational data needs.

  • Previous experience overseeing a business line of $5mm+.

  • Broad knowledge of the Data & Analytics landscape with an excellent ability to design Data & Analytics solutions and operating models focused on existing and future business strategies across several of these areas:

    • Cloud-native business intelligence, data integration, and application integration.

    • Data management and governance

    • Data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

    • Modern data architectures and data engineering

    • Data storytelling, visualization, and reporting.



  • Experience in several of these skills:

    • Strategic Planning

    • Strategic Roadmap & Execution Plans

    • Competitive Research & Analysis

    • Business Case Development

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We are open to hiring this position at different levels. For Senior Principal, the base salary range is $153,000 - $237,000 and the targeted base salary range is $175,000 - $200,000. For Director level, the base salary range is $175,000 - $281,000 and the targeted base salary range is $190,000 - $225,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
