You come from a background in data with experience in architecture, data modeling, data engineering, or data governance using all different types of databases. You are comfortable explaining technical problems to leadership, business, and other technologist. When working on solutions involving both Data Engineering and ML Engineering you have the flexibility to get involved on the Data Engineering activities where meaningful. You bring 4-8+ years of experience working on and leading technical teams while delivering outcomes. You are comfortable with agile methodologies and enterprise development frameworks with deep experience in applying it in a real-world, team setting.
What technologies will you be using?
Everything, depending on clients' needs. Python, SQL, AWS, GCP, Golang, Hadoop, Snowflake, RDBMS, Kakfa, BI reporting tools, and Data Science toolkits. Projects may also require understanding of how to move from a legacy system (SQL Server, relational databases, etc) into a more modern architecture. No one needs to be an expert in everything on day 1 but we are always learning new things to solve problems, like:
