Job Description:


First Month- 30 hours a week; Next 8 months- 20-30 hours a week


Target start date -ASAP


Primary time zone will be mountain time - start time 8AM MST


3 stands ups a week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 8 am MST


Project Description: One of our products is taking on a large new client that will need to implement their software at over 200 locations. Our products are all start-up companies that were purchased by our larger umbrella company, so the culture at each product varies and their knowledge of what a project manager provides is limited. So the current request is to facilitate meetings, take notes, and be a task master to ensure things are getting done. We both know a PM can do a lot more than that, so I'd love someone who can bring the full PM picture to this team, but not be overbearing about it, there are some strong personalities at play.

No one on their team has bandwidth.


Product has a good culture and lot of smart people on the team.


This is their product -for doggy day cares and grooming and boarding- application -if you are set up as a customer- and paying- it could be this product application


200 location client for this product -they are implementing this system into 200 locations- they want to see some dev enhancement that need to happen before going live


Rest of the roll outs in Jan and Feb


This role is going to be meetings heavy- if they have control over their calendar at the other role is going to fine


Other meetings include client meetings, Executive leadership meetings twice a week (internal and external), Client PM meetings, and Project team meetings


Needs someone who can adjust expectations and help team move in the right direction- facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, take notes - knows a PM can add more value than that, but an PM that comes in to overhaul is not going to work with this team. Being subtle and watching for dependencies and risk awareness is going to be important- getting the team to the realization through convos etc around risk etc.


They don't want to be told but this PM would need a soft hand to manage them and nudge them- but also confidence to hold their own and do their job.
