Responsibilities
Creates, develops, plans, and edits Functional Release Notes for Product Management. Conducts interviews and attends internal meetings with Product Managers to gather relevant information for all versions of this important end-user documentation, both customer specific and for general market releases.
Communicates successfully with PM/POs to ensure messaging aligns with customer and deliverable expectations.
Researches and translates technical information to be digestible for all who consume this specific documentation.
Capable of engineering and improving processes to ensure quality deliverables. Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.
Leverages existing documentation (ex. MRD's) to ensure alignment with customer expectation.
Produces Release Notes conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Required Skills and Experience: 2+ years of technical writing experience
Desired Skills and Experience: French Speaker preferred. Although we currently use a formal translation vendor for our documentation, there is a major benefit to having the PM Technical Writer comfortable with French (Canadian, specifically). This would would act as a major benefit to the organization, as all translated documentation is reviewed by our internal APD French speaking colleagues. Having a Technical Writer who can also be part of this review process would mainstream the Release Notes documentation and ensure accuracy of the information.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $25 - $34 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
