Day-to-Day
Develops and executes strategic communication plans that amplify Volunteers of America Texas's objectives and initiatives.
Crafts compelling content for digital and print platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials.
Supports media relations efforts by drafting press releases, pitching stories, and responding to media inquiries.
Collaborates with program staff to gather success stories, testimonials, and client achievements.
Ensures consistency in messaging and branding across all digital channels.
Creates and curates engaging content for digital platforms, including written content, graphics, photos, videos, and other multimedia assets.
Manages social media accounts and engage with followers to foster community, raise awareness, and encourage support.
Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics to track effectiveness and optimize strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or digital marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Valid Texas Drivers' License, clear MVR, and ability to be insured
