Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Remote
opportunity.


Role Description


The heart of Genworth is its data, and with your help and guidance, the business can identify the appropriate BI solutions to consume and analyze data at the speed of business. We are seeking a skilled Power BI Professional to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR metrics, data analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into visually compelling insights. This role will be instrumental in providing data-driven solutions to support strategic HR initiatives.
This resource will be responsible for rebuilding our People Analytics dashboards in Microsoft Power BI from the ground up. With a strong understanding of both key business context and BI architecture and design, this role will be critical in bridging the gap between the business user and their data. Responsibilities will vary from very technical to very high-level design.
• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize HR metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify data requirements, define key metrics, and translate business needs into actionable insights.
• Design and implement data models to optimize data performance and accuracy.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment to ensure data quality.
• Automate report generation and distribution to streamline HR processes.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Interact with the HRIS and People Analytics team and business leads to understand business needs.
• Provide technical guidance to the HRIS and People Analytics team to best address business functional requirements.
• Deliver high-level BI design documents to HRIS and People Analytics team for review.
• Support QA and UAT and production support when required.
• Provide cross training to HRIS and People Analytics team on developed solutions.


Skills & Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Excellent understanding of HR metrics and key performance indicators.
• Ability to analyze complex data and extract meaningful insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with HR stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Prior experience with Workday HCM.
