This role will be responsible for managing our Approved Suppliers to our supplier strategy which would include communication of our expectations, negotiating and contracting to ensure value obtained for partnering with McKesson, assuring adherence to our supplier standards and implementing contractual terms within the organization. Act as the contact for Approved Suppliers into the Medical-Surgical division.
Responsibilities:
Negotiates and contracts with Approved Suppliers to assure adherence to McKesson Medical-Surgical standards, assuring the terms align to the value that McKesson delivers.
Understand category strategies to assure agreements with manufacturers align to the overall strategy.
Represents McKesson Medical-Surgical to Approved Suppliers and facilitates the needs of Approved Suppliers within the organization in alignment with their contracted terms.
Offer and contract with manufacturers for products such as freight solutions, incentive programs, data packages, and supply chain solutions.
Facilitate, research, and provide recommendations for potential suppliers who are looking to join McKesson in alignment with Category Managers and the Contract Excellence team.
Responsible for planning, forecasting, and tracking key financial measures tied to the management of Approved Suppliers.
Resolve inquiries and issues for Approved Suppliers that are impacting our sales reps, customers, or back office administration.

$83,500 - $139,100
