POSITION SUMMARY:



The Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence (BI), Government is a critical leadership role in responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across McKesson Medical-Surgical Government Solutions (MMSGS). The Sr. Manager will lead a team of BI/Reporting Analysts, manage the design and implementation of government reporting & analytics, and ensure effective use of data to support strategic business objectives to enhance compliance with government contracts, awards, and reporting.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Data Management & Analysis: Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of data from various sources. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor business performance.


BI Solution Development: Manage the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions, including reporting systems. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of BI solutions. Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate BI solutions with existing systems.


Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing BI team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and workload balancing.


Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the BI, reporting, and analytics strategy aligned with MMSGS goals and government contract requirements. Partner with executive leadership to identify business needs and opportunities where BI can add value. Drive the adoption of BI tools (inclusive of SQL, Power BI, and Advanced Excel) and practices across the organization.


Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. Conduct regular training and workshops to enhance data literacy across the organization. Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, sales support or customer experience.

  • 3+ years supervisory experience managing BI projects or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc.).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.




PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:



  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is an advantage.

  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail, government) is highly advantageous.

  • Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific data and trends.

Our Base Pay Range for this position



$109,500 - $182,500
