As a liaison between the business community and the IT organization, you will provide technical solutions to meet user needs. You will possess expertise in the business unit(s) you support and have a deep understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business partner operations to identify strengths and weaknesses and determine opportunities for process automation.
Assist in business process redesign and documentation for new technology implementations.
Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to these specifications.
Educate the IT organization on business direction and negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business units and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
Stay informed on technological trends and leverage this knowledge to provide solutions that enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.
Make recommendations for buy versus build decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Typically, 1 to 3 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Clean data and build data lakes.
Create Tableau dashboards.
Align with stakeholders and present analysis to internal and cross-functional stakeholders.
