OUR Department:
At Rochester Regional Health, the orthopedic teams are committed to bringing their patient the full functionality and lasting relief they are seeking. Depending on the condition and recovery goals, non-surgical and surgical treatments may include a comprehensive consultation, followed by physical therapy or other therapeutic measures; minimally invasive techniques like arthroscopy that can be conducted on an outpatient basis, or podiatric or orthopedic procedures such as tendon and cartilage repair or joint replacement.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you're the engine and the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. DEPARTMENT: RRH Ortho - Henrietta Medical Campus (50 Middle Road) SCHEDULE: M-F Days

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Triage line and prescription refill line as needed
Route MYCHART questions to MD or PA pool as needed
Resolve patient calls/prescription request in order of priority
Start telephone encounter for triage calls
Work to resolve patient issues
Delegate LPN work within the nurse pools as appropriate
Work closely with providers to address patient needs
Assist with patient care, injections, blood draws, dressing and vac changes as needed
Be aware of emergency protocols and emergency exit plans
Act as Charge RN in Pods, assisting with patient care and directing work flows
Knowlege of AED, and emergency equipment
BLS Certified
EDUCATION:
AS: Nursing (Required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
PAY RANGE: $33.00 - $44.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
