Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Project Manager to join their team. This hybrid role requires a dynamic individual who can lead and implement key strategic projects, driving business outcomes and improving margins.

As an Operational Excellence Project Manager, you will be responsible for the development and sustainability of work streams within the site. You will be a catalyst for change, challenging the status quo and driving improvements through best practice replication, innovative solutions, and alignment of goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement strategic projects that significantly improve margin and drive business outcomes for the site.
- Develop implementation plans, conduct risk assessments, estimate and verify financial benefits, and develop contingency plans for unforeseen events.
- Mentor and train key stakeholders in the use of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
- Assist in selecting, scoping, prioritizing, and executing Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
- Act as a change agent, helping employees learn, understand, adjust, and grow within the continuous improvement culture.
- Provide technical leadership to business units and initiate or maintain schedules for projects and project milestones.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of related work experience. A comprehensive knowledge of a particular technological field and a complete understanding of the specified functional area is required. A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated success in applying Continuous Improvement / OpEx tools and a minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations, business improvement, quality systems, or other areas related to project management is preferred.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proven project and people management capabilities, and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced production environment. Good functional computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Visio, and Minitab, are required. Knowledge of applicable standards for a regulated environment is preferred. Willingness to travel to facilitate personal development and support of other sites is a must.
