• Position: Director of Infection Control
• State License Accepted: Any state but must apply for Alaska RN License prior to starting
• Certifications Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card through AHA or Red Cross, Valid driver's license
• Preferred Certifications: A Master’s degree in a related field preferred. Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred. Certified Infection Control and Prevention (CIC) preferred
• Experience Requirements:
  • Nine (9) years of nursing experience
  • Four (4) years of experience in an acute care or critical care setting
  • Five (5) years involving employee supervision
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
• COVID vaccine required? Yes
• Weekly Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day
• Clearance Timeframe: 2-4 weeks
• Staff Oversight: 3.5 FTEs (Infection Prevention staff only)
• Summary of scope: All IC oversight for hospital and specialty clinics
• Reason for role: Coaching and growth for current Director
• Dates of coverage: ASAP for 3 months
