Job Description:

The Content Manager will lead the content development process for all marketing initiatives, ensuring continual growth of MHK's market share. Responsibilities include creating, improving, and maintaining content to meet business goals, managing content development and website initiatives from start to finish, and monitoring web traffic and engagement to identify and scale best practices. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketer with strong project management, written and verbal communication skills. Further, the role requires attention to detail and the ability to deliver multiple projects on schedule and within budget. Relevant experience in content development, optimization and supporting brand consistency are essential.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide end-to-end project management of all website-related initiatives, guiding and facilitating the work of external vendors and internal resources, keeping project plans up to date and communicating progress, ensuring milestones are met, managing project budgets, and reporting on key performance indicators. 

  • Handle all requests for ongoing website content changes/additions, ensuring all content is up-to-date, accurate and aligns with overall company strategy and brand identity and supports engagement and lead generation goals. 

  • Improve website reporting dashboards to demonstrate performance to plan, measuring growth against established goals, while interpreting user behavior, traffic patterns, and overall site performance to ensure continual growth. 

  • Lead cross-functional teams including internal subject matter experts and marketing agency support to develop compelling and strategic website messaging that clarifies MHK's product portfolio value propositions and optimizes visitor engagement. This includes: 

    • Developing content templates, collecting input from cross-functional teams, drafting copy, and managing the review/editing/approval cycle. 

    • Working with a marketing agency SEO specialist, enhance site SEO and incorporate AI optimization to drive interested buyers to the MHK site.   

    • Working with designers to ensure new page layouts are modernized with creative page builds and motion graphics, prominent cross-linking to related pages, and content to drive optimal visitor engagement rates.



  • Lead the development of compelling marketing assets including product explainer and customer testimonial videos, internal testimonial videos, written case studies, press releases, product literature, slide presentations and other promotional materials. This includes: 

    • Leading the content development process from end to end, working with internal and external resources to ensure high-quality, accurate and brand-consistent deliverables.

    • Writing engaging campaign messaging that promotes content offers via email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and incorporation into sales presentations. 

    • As applicable, strategize and manage prominent placements for new content approved for use on the MHK website ensuring optimal visibility and engagement. 

    • Manage internal inventory of content assets and related files including a centralized log of all sales and marketing resources. 



  • Support the blog development and publication process as needed with technical editing reviews, SEO prep to ensure optimal readership results.

  • Manage content development process for all event-related materials including: 

    • Developing presentations from initial concept to final delivery, collaborating with internal and external presenters to gather content and ensure content deadlines are met. 

    • Providing feedback and support to presenters to enhance presentation quality.

    • Proofread content to correct any grammatical, spelling, or typographical errors and edit for message clarity, brand compliance and presentation best practices.

    • Support the copywriting and development process for other event-related communications and materials, such as email invitations, social media promotions, landing page promotions, etc.



  • Act as a backup for formatting and slide design support during special projects and/or in times of high volumes.

  • As assigned, act as a back-up for setting up blog and compliance publication campaigns for distribution via website placement, social media and email via HubSpot and Salesforce.com. 

Experience Required:


  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in marketing, specifically content development and content management is required

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams including internal subject matter experts and external technical and creative vendors required

  • Prior experience with at least one full website redesign and relaunch is required

  • Top-notch project management ability and strong attention to detail required

  • Advanced creative and technical writing skills required

  • Experience working with HubSpot and WordPress required

  • Strong PowerPoint slide design and presentation development skills required

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in managed care strongly desired

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com desired

Education Requirement:


  • Bachelor's degree is required (Business, Marketing, Journalism or English preferred)

  • Experience and ability to work in a constantly changing, fast paced, deadline driven environment.

  • All prospective employees must pass a background check & drug test (Federal contractor requirement)

  • Position will typically collaborate onsite in our Tampa office at least one day per week but as necessary up to 2-3 days per week onsite
