We have an exciting opportunity open for a Warehouse Coordinator I located in Texarkana, AR.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This Warehouse Coordinator I works closely with Operations to ensure sufficient supply of materials to meet construction needs, assist with developing and managing construction replenishment schedules, monitor and maintain inventory levels, assist with creation of minimum and maximum inventory, create and distribute purchase requisitions to replenish product and material supply, conduct weekly physical count of inventory and reconcile to ERP, and communicate material forecast to the Procurement department.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Manages warehouse inventory and generates purchase requisitions to replenish material.
  • Coordinates with Operations to ensure sufficient supply of materials to meet business requirements.
  • Develops and implements construction replenishment schedules with Operations Manager.
  • Engages Operations in bi-monthly operational planning sessions.
  • Communicates material forecast to Materials Management to assist in procurement planning processes.
  • Arranges and schedules material movements throughout the warehouse and designated service areas.
  • Serves as a liaison between the Procurement Department and Operations, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Performs a comprehensive physical inventory count and reconciles the actual count with ERP records to ensure alignment between recorded and tangible inventory.
  • Collaborates with business partners in the formulation of solutions for shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure maximum efficiency in the department.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required, while an associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of one to three years of warehousing experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Possesses inventory management and planning skills adaptable to a construction environment.
  • Understanding and conceptualization of ERP/MRP systems and their applications.
  • Experience in logistics is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
  • Possesses robust time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multitask.
  • Capable of working independently on assigned tasks while also being receptive to direction on given assignments.
  • Illustrates the capacity to acquire additional skills.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.

The position is covered under the D.O.T. regulations and Summit Utilities Drug and Alcohol Policy and is, therefore, subject to all terms of the Policy, including the random selection for drug testing.
