Summary:

The Program Technical Manager will work with individual application manager and business stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality applications that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include:

§  Supports the standards and conventions set by Data Architecture and Data Governance teams in the BTS Enterprise Information Management team

 

• Build solution within Enterprise Information Management department’s architecture and framework for data ingestion and extracts.


• Identifies and establish strategic direction for all matters related to data engineering, data acquisition, extracts, reports, application interfaces and enrichment processes


•  


• Participate in data strategy and road map exercises, business intelligence/data warehouse product selection, design, and implementation

 

• Demonstrates a solid understanding of the Independence business processes and requirements

 

• Engages with business teams to understand their needs and develops robust, innovative solutions that exceed our customer’s expectations

 

·       Must be able to create timelines and facilitate collaboration between multiple departments to bring issues to closure.

 

• Abides and enforces corporate and information technology policies

 

• Serve as liaison between Divisions/Functions and IT on projects and enhancements and drive technical validity of solution.


• Leads multidisciplinary projects or initiatives. 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. 15+ years of experience in data mart and data warehouse environments ·       10+ years of working in the healthcare payer industry and experience in multiple subject areas like Provider, Medical/Pharmacy Claims, Membership etc. Development and project management experience implementing analytic applications including all phases of system development lifecycle (SDLC) Deep understanding of enterprise data and how it is being used by business for analytical and operational purposes. Solid experience in DART architecture and framework for data ingestion and extracts Leadership/supervisory experience preferred in the following areas: ETL or ELT design and development Analytic applications Data engineering Data warehouse Big Data/Hadoop Cloud-based solutions  Strong solutions design experience Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to influence and partner with business partners as well as to work with highly technical individuals   Demonstrated solutions design experience   Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Hybrid

Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
