Essential Functions:

Provide logistics support to include property management and accountability, hazardous material procedures, precision measurement electrical laboratory (PMEL) tracking and material and equipment disposal. Provide logistical and supply operations including acquisition of supplies, equipment, and products. Maintain records on certifications, calibrations, load tests, and inspections of instrumentation, fabrication equipment, hoists, slings, and test hardware. Work independently to resolve routine and moderately difficult tasks with occasional support and consultation with senior level personnel. Order, receive, deliver, account for, and dispose of materials IAW Government tasking to support all of GWEF's test activities and HITL simulations.

General Duties:

  • Provide logistics support to include property management and accountability, hazardous material procedures, precision measurement electrical laboratory (PMEL) tracking and material and equipment disposal.
  • Provide logistical and supply operations including acquisition of supplies, equipment, and products.
  • Generate, manage, and maintain procurement expense logs and logs for base supply action accounts.
  • Maintain records on certifications, calibrations, load tests, and inspections of instrumentation, fabrication equipment, hoists, slings, and test hardware.
  • Manage inventory accounts for additions, procurements, and deletions (turn-ins).
  • Prepare and track communications/computer authorization requests.
  • Order, receive, deliver, account for, and dispose of materials IAW Government tasking to support all of GWEF’s test activities and HITL simulations.
  • Maintain Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) account in coordination with PMEL requirements and test engineer schedules.
  • Work independently to resolve routine and moderately difficult tasks with occasional support and consultation with senior level personnel.
  • Fully proficient in the area of expertise.
  • Compile inventory reports of quantity and type of material on hand.
  • Move or transport material from one GWEF department to another.
  • Coordinate material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as necessary to support contract and mission support requirements in job-related areas. Performs general housekeeping duties to assigned work areas, maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Must possess 8 years of logistics/supply experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Government logistics and supply operations including acquisition of supplies, equipment and products, logistical support including property management and accountability.
  • Fully proficient in the area of expertise hazardous material procedures, precision measurement equipment laboratory (PMEL) tracking, and material/equipment disposal.
  • Familiarity with the interlocking policies associated with a contractor-operated supply system highly desirable. A thorough knowledge of receiving, storage, cataloging and consumption of inventory principles is required.
  • Must be familiar with use of electronic-based data collection systems to input data and produce reports in order to obtain the desired results.
  • Detail-Oriented.

Security Clearance Level: Candidate must possess a SECRET Security Clearance, and they must be able to meet requirements to operate in an enhanced security environment.

Demands & Work Environment: Required to work inside and outside under conditions exposed to dust and extreme temperatures. Physical effort requires crawling, bending, stooping, standing, and working in various awkward positions. Normal duties require extensive lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds and transporting heavy items using a hand-truck or forklift.
