Field Work:
Collection of Different Geologic units and their properties, track sampling and how they perform under QC tests.
Environmental Water Sampling
Property Line GIS Storage and Marking
Mine planning/drone/ blast planning
Community Relationships
Office Work:
Inventory of the Core, Map, and Environmental Records
Geological Operations Plans
Aiding in yearly environmental reporting
Updating the Site maps and plans

This is an in-person internship based out of the Capital District
Requirements/Competencies
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Database software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Monitor and test process functions and materials daily to ensure products meet or exceed the requirements of the appropriate agency or customer
Correct any deviations in these processed or materials from the requirements
Follow quality control plans or guidelines as assigned
Evaluate data for deviations or trends away from accepted standards
Maintain test result database; input data
Assist internal and external customers in any quality-related matters

Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
Ability to build partnerships and to work with others to meet shared objectives
Demonstrate strong communication skills
Ability to create new and better ways for the organization to be successful

Education/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualified undergraduate student enrolled in one of the following degrees or related programs: Engineering, Enginering Tech or Construction Technology.
Salary and Benefits:
-This position offers an Hourly pay of $19.
