As an Assistant Coach, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and direction across all facets of the program. Your responsibilities will encompass sport-specific coaching, recruitment of top-tier talent, student-athlete development (including academic support), program administration, and program advancement. With your unwavering commitment and expertise, you will help elevate our lacrosse program to new heights while fostering an environment that aligns with the mission and values of Lehigh University.

Key Accountabilities:

• Implement effective coaching strategies and training programs to enhance player development and team performance.
• Spearhead recruitment efforts, identifying and attracting top-tier student-athlete talent to join our esteemed program.
• Provide comprehensive support and guidance to student-athletes, ensuring their academic success and personal growth.
• Collaborate with the coaching staff to develop and execute strategic plans for program administration and advancement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, discipline, and a commitment to excellence.
• Actively engage in community outreach and promotional activities to raise the program's visibility and support.

This position is a Grade: 7 - 40, offering an approximate salary of $38,500-$46,220 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications. The duties of the position do not allow for a remote work option; the employee in this position will be required to work on campus where they can be fully accessible to the Lehigh community. This position is responsible for driving University-owned vehicles as a routine function, therefore a valid Driver's License and a good driving record is required. This position is considered to have direct contact with minors and therefore successful completion of ACT 153 Background Checks are required prior to starting. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree preferred

• One to three years of work experience

• A degree and experience as a student-athlete

• NCAA Certification required

• CPR/First Aid required
