Kforce has a client in Seattle, WA that is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their audit team.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our dynamic audit team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the enhancement of our Cloud Computing business by conducting independent and objective assessments of business activities and controls. The primary focus is on improving operational efficiency, customer experience, security, scalability, and continuity, as well as ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end financial, operational, and compliance audits across business areas.


• Utilize extensive data sets to support audits and derive valuable insights for business improvement.


• Provide consultative support to business partners, identifying opportunities for control enhancements to mitigate risk and improve compliance and operational performance.


• Lead teams, facilitate meetings, and champion positive change within the organization.


• Work independently with flexibility, prioritizing workloads while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.


• Delve into details to develop meaningful findings and contribute to driving effective solutions.


• Understand complex business processes, identifying risks related to processes, compliance, organizations, and technology.


• Apply strong analytical skills, business judgment, and a controllership focus to drive optimal results with a pragmatic approach.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• 3+ years of experience with operation auditing, risk management, compliance, or financial analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CFE)


• Big 4 consulting experience


• Experience with process improvement, Kaizen, and six sigma


• Experience with multiple compliance standards, such as: SOC 1/2/3, ISO 27001/27017/27018, FedRAMP, COBIT, and/or ITIL


• Risk management experience, including performing assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk


• Willingness to dive deep into your own audits combined with experience collaborating on a team


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; You will prepare reports and make presentations to senior level management; You will interact with various levels of employees to collect and communicate information


• Solid analytical skills and history of analyzing data and situations to identify meaningful observations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
