We are looking for a new Commercial Construction Manager to manage our poured-in-place safety surfacing projects. You will have autonomous ownership of projects after the sale is made through final sign-off, overseeing the big picture business decisions down to the small job details. Internally, we call this position Construction & Operations Manager.

Location: 150 Brownson Lane, Driftwood, TX 78619 with flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days each week
Schedule: Monday - Friday with occassional calls on weekend and evenings as needed
Commercial Construction Manager Salary Range:
$90,000 - 110,000, depending on experience

Leading the Team


  • Lead our Project Management team to achieve Construction Operations production targets in alignment with Company profitability objectives.
  • Develop and implement individual member roles, responsibilities, and account territory assignments.
  • Manage the hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  • Oversee and direct daily work activities of local warehouse staff and Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and identify and implement process and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly production throughput and materials and installation labor demand forecasts.

Construction Project Management

  • Coordinate with the clients and Project team to execute project mobilization and installation details.
  • Deploy resources to execute project construction activity: i nstallation, schedule sequencing, m aterials estimating, inventory control, m aterials shipment, site logistics support and oversight, and equipment ordering.
  • Oversee construction labor, and subcontract installation crew by coordinating installation schedules, communicating project details and work instruction, construction means and methods, and overall quality.
  • Identify and resolve of project design and jobsite issues and changes.
  • Manage construction Cost to align with estimates, contract values, and profitability targets. Oversee project P&L and reporting and any change order processes.
  • Manage project closeouts.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives across all areas

Oversee Preconstruction

  • Proactively plan for pending work under contract.
  • Collect and distribute all project documentation and site logistic information.
  • Quickly identify and resolve project, design, or jobsite issues.
  • Coordinate with clients and project team to determine the full scope of work.
  • Review and align work agreements prior to final sign-off. Manage the overall submittal process.

Essential Experiences


  • 5+ years managing commercial construction projects and leading teams
