Assembler - Second Shift (Contract Role)




Job Description



*** PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION BASED OUT OF OUR CHELMSFORD, MA LOCATION ***




WHAT YOU'LL DO



•Perform a wide variety of electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.


•Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in functions such as performing wiring, component installation, kit assembly, on assembly units.


•Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.


•Ensure that all work is completed in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.


•Maintain a clean and organized work area.


•Report any quality or safety issues to management immediately.


•Follow all company policies and procedures.



WHAT YOU'LL BRING



•High School Diploma or equivalent.


•Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic / mechanical assembly.


•Knowledge of basic assembly techniques.


•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.


•Familiarity with hand and power tools.


•Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.


•Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.


•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.


•Moderate computer skills.
