Our client is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are adept at using information technology and industry knowledge to define system scope based on user needs and a comprehensive understanding of business processes and industry requirements.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives

- Undertaking self-directed activities that result in our client's long-term improvements in business processes

- Providing business unit support and resolving issues not requiring extensive business/system knowledge

- Communicating incident status and clarifying issues with business partners

- Escalating incidents to seniors where extensive business process and system knowledge is required

- Resolving application incidents and problems that require app code and/or operational modifications

- Serving as a liaison between the business and IT service providers to ensure functional specifications are understood and met

- Analyzing issues within an enterprise and providing solutions to meet the desired business outcomes through the use of IT

- Documenting business requirements and user requirements to ensure system designs meet business needs

Before the system goes live, you will ensure knowledge transfer to the support organization, schedule and communicate the system go-live date, develop and/or update documentation and training materials, and ensure IT and SOX compliance is covered. You will also document functional requirements that describe the system, process, or product to fulfill business requirements.
