Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for Solution Consultant to grow and expand the business opportunities for SuperStorage products from a technical perspective. You will also participate in product and solutions design, and ensure new products incorporate the expectations and requirements from customers to increase business opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Work with sales, FAE, and product team to design and engineer storage solution proposals to influence and win enterprise customers.
• Demonstrate Supermicro SuperStorage solutions and products to customers on site, through remote webinars and in special events.
• Recommend and define next-generation storage solution architecture and work with product managers to manage product development.
• Review customer RFQ/RFP.
• Partner closely with product and marketing teams to ensure product roadmap is competitive in the market.
• Work closely with internal engineering team to ensure customers' expectations and requirements are incorporated in the new platforms.
• Ensure customer overall satisfaction, collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve clients' issues or concerns in a timely manner.
• Work with marketing to publish storage products and white paper. Promote the final products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering equivalent experience. EE or CS is highly preferable.
• At least 10 years of experience in enterprise storage design and deployment.
• Strong knowledge in SAS, SATA, NVMe, HDD, and SSD.
• Strong knowledge in storage hardware, firmware, application software and benchmarks.
• Experience in big data solutions for enterprise and cloud service.
• Solid communication skills in both verbal and written.
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and marketing skills.
• Strong executive presence with a track record of winning mid to large clients/business.
