Job Description:

Hybrid - Atlanta, GA. HQ. 5+ years' experience with B2B Pricing Systems, developing user stories, process mapping and workflow optimization is also a central part of this role.

Job Purpose:

Our Lead IT Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis efforts to develop and clarify business requirements that will be used to provide necessary functionality to meet business needs. In addition, this position will work with other team members to develop plans, schedule, /deliverables to meet overall release schedules. As part of the Technology organization, you will have the opportunity to implement platforms supporting Veritiv's digital transformation and create best in class experiences while bringing new and innovative business capabilities to market.

Job Responsibilities:

● Work as a liaison between Veritiv business units and IT bridging business requirements and technical solutions needed to meet those requirements
● Collaborate closely with Veritiv leaders to define priorities, document technical requirements, and evaluate solutions
● Analyze, document, and communicate system integration questions and system design decisions
● Translate business objectives into technical requirements to facilitate system deliverables
● Create various scope options dependent on priorities and cost/benefit expectations
● Document current and future state business processes through process mapping
● Perform walk-throughs of prototypes to gain approval for final solutions
● Participate in the definition of acceptance criteria and release change management
● Build and carry out test cases and scenarios

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

● Work with remote stakeholders and team members from various parts of the business
● Manage relationships and deliverables from third party system integrators
● Perform as a leader who demonstrates the ability to serve as a strong team member with solid communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth environment.
● 8+ years of IT Business Analyst experience working with B2B Pricing systems (Price Setting, Price Management, and Price Execution)
● Experience with B2B Pricing Systems like Zilliant, PriceFx, Vendavo, PROS, or other
● Experience with CPQ Systems, Rebate Systems, or Deal Desk applications
● Experience with Salesforce CRM
● Knowledge of ERP, Supply chain, security, payment, marketing, merchandising, and order management solutions

Work Experience:

● 5-10 years of related job experience.

● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.

● Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.

● Experience working with ERP systems, contract management, CRM systems and project management tools preferred.

● Experience writing SQL queries (familiar with primary and foreign keys, as well as joins and aggregate functions).

● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree Preferred

● Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) - Data Management Association (DAMA) International
