Job Description:  

The person hired for the position of Maintenance Mechanic I will work at our 3M Springfield, MO Site.

As a(n) Maintenance Mechanic I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Responsibilities: 

• Understanding and following all safety policies and procedures


• Maintaining electronic and electrical equipment and components


• Programing/troubleshooting using programming devices.


• Installing/upgrading equipment


• Calibrating and verifying metrology equipment.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Required:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.


• Possess or in the last six (6) months of pursuing a two (2) year technical degree in a maintenance field in a private, public, government, or military industrial environment setting OR have 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.


• Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Transparency:

The starting rate of pay range for this position is $30.97 to $35.84.This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
